Shelled Walnuts
Shelled Pistachios

In Australian Horticulture, nut export is the largest industry. Australia exports mainly almonds, walnuts, macadamias and chestnut. Oversea nut importers rate Australian nuts as premium quality of high food safety standards and a reliable supply chain.

Almond:

Australia is the second biggest Almond grower in the world. We harvest in counter season to US and Spain therefore our new season almonds are available for many Asian festivals. With warm, dry weather and free of many diseases, South Australia produces a high volume of almonds and it keeps growing to meet the higher demand for export.

Pistachio:

Pistachio production in Australia is growing with many projects related to breeding and supporting growers. Two major pistachio producing countries are California and Iran but Australian pistachios are harvested in their off season

Macadamias:

Macadamias are native to Australia, being found in rainforests and have a history of millions of years. These nuts are the only native food from Australia known widely in the international market. Macadamia growers follow very high standards from growing to processing to ensure the quality of the kernels. The Australian government has had a strong commitment to develop the macadamia industry by investing in research and marketing for this native nut.

Walnuts:

Australia supplies most of the fresh walnuts to the world for 6 months during northern hemisphere off-season. Quality of Australian walnuts is considered as one of the best because of the low use of chemicals and the unique weather conditions.
